One of the slides from part nine of our teaching series, "Does God Engage in Destructive Behavior". Here is the text:
“Deuteronomy 28 lays out principles governing interaction between God and his people. God sets before them life and death, blessings and curses. Their choices will determine how God will interact with them—to bless them or to impose judgment. Still, we would be wrong to see this as an interaction involving only God and Israel. Throughout Scripture there is another being lurking behind the scenes, one who leads a host of fallen angels who are hostile to God and his chosen people.”
