What God Did NOT Say in Genesis 2:17

 “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” (Gen. 2:17)

God Did NOT Say:

1. “In the day that you eat thereof I will KILL YOU!!” God is not the killer (John 10:10; Heb. 2:14-15)

2. “In the day that you eat thereof I will bring death upon you.” Sin itself brought death (Eze. 33:11; Rom. 5:12; 6:23; James 1:13-15)

3. “I already know you will disobey me and eat from this tree. As a matter of fact, I predestined it.” Adam’s disobedience was NOT God’s doing (Gen. 6:5-7; Eccl. 7:29; Jer. 7:31; 19:5; 32:35)

Read your Bible and stop reading things INTO your Bible that are not there.
