Does God Put on Us More than We Can Bear?

Some people say, “God will never put on us any more than we can bear.” The Bible does not teach this. On the contrary, the Bible says:

“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” (1 Cor. 10:13)

  1. The difficulties in our lives are COMMON TO MAN. This is not God’s doing (James 1:13-15).
  2. God is the one who MAKES A WAY OF ESCAPE from the trial. He is not the one who brings the trial.
  3. Trials and tests are brought by the ENEMY, not God (1 Pet. 5:8-10; Rev. 2:10; 1 Thess. 3:5).

Read your Bible and stop reading things INTO your Bible that are not there.
