An "Over-Emphasis" on Jesus?
Some have been concerned that my emphasis (or what some may perceive as "over-emphasis") on Jesus can over-shadow the truth about the Father.
As far as taking the revelation of Jesus so far that it minimizes the truth about the Father, God did give glimpses of His Father-heart in the OT (Psalm 103:13; Malachi 3:17; Hosea 11:1-4). Nevertheless, it was Jesus who gave the full revelation of God as Father. Therefore, no one can ever exalt Jesus so much that one misses the truth about the Father unless one intentionally excludes the Father (such as some Pentecostal Oneness groups do). A right exaltation of Jesus is an exaltation of the Father. The Father is revealed and glorified through the Son.
